Each thought can leave a wake.
Thoughtwake listens to a live talk or a group discussion and gives everyone in the room key points, questions worth asking and resources to go deeper, on their own phone and on the room's screen, while the conversation is still happening.
Request an invite
Thoughtwake is invite-only for now. Tell us a little about yourself and we'll be in touch.

Joining a talk?
Type the 6-character code from the speaker's screen. No app or account needed.
How it works
- Someone talks, or the whole group does. One microphone in the middle of the room is enough; Thoughtwake transcribes it live.
- The room follows along. People open a link on their phones; the shared screen shows the transcript and the join code.
- Everyone leaves with more. Key points, questions and resources build up as the conversation goes, not after it.
Built for small group discussions
A good discussion moves fast: ideas pile up, threads get dropped, and the question that would settle the argument never gets asked. Thoughtwake keeps a live board of it all that the whole group can see and review while the discussion is still going.
-
Seminars and class discussions
Students see the open questions, the assumptions behind each argument and the cruxes that would settle a disagreement, so the next comment builds on the last one instead of repeating it.
Key points · Open questions · Assumptions · Cruxes
-
Research brainstorms and lab meetings
Every idea lands on a shared board, merged when someone restates it. Threads mentioned in passing are kept with a question to pull on, along with the objections a reviewer would raise.
Idea board · Unexplored threads · Next question · Reviewer objections
-
Team meetings and workshops
Decisions are written down with the reason given, and promises with no owner or date are flagged before everyone leaves the room.
Decisions · Action items · Pending decisions · Unowned commitments
-
Study groups and book clubs
Keep a running summary and the questions the group hasn't answered yet, so the next meeting starts where this one left off.
Running summary · Open questions · Key terms
-
Customer interviews
See the jobs and problems a customer describes as they say them, the questions still unasked, and whether your own questions are leading the witness.
Customer jobs · Problem validation · Question quality
-
Your own kind of group
Describe what you want tracked in a sentence, like "every book recommendation" or "points we disagree on", and it becomes its own live tab. Save the set as a template for next time.

Review it while it's happening
Missed five minutes? The running summary catches you up. Not sure what was decided? It's on the board. Anyone can glance at their phone without stopping the conversation.
Come back to it later
The transcript and every tab stay with the facilitator's session, ready to search, export or save to Google Drive, so the discussion doesn't end when the meeting does.
What listeners get
Key points
The ideas that matter, kept current as the talk moves on.
Questions worth asking
Prompts that help a listener think, and maybe raise a hand.
Resources to go deeper
Real links at three levels: an introduction, the next step and the deep end.
A running summary
Arrived late or drifted off? Catch up in a few lines.
For educators
Students keep up without frantic note-taking, see the questions they didn't know to ask, and leave with resources at their level. Add your own tabs, like "every formula mentioned".
For events
Attendees join with a code, no app or account. The room display stays calm and readable, and speakers can turn on private coaching that only they see.
For groups
Seminars, lab meetings, study groups and workshops get a live board of ideas, open questions and decisions that everyone can review as the discussion unfolds. See how groups use it.
Privacy, plainly
Listeners never need an account. A session's transcript and companion tabs are stored for the presenter, and its audio is recorded only when the presenter leaves recording on. Listeners and the room display are told when it is. Presenters who sign in with Google can save each session to their own Drive.
